Day Two brought some surprises from actual nail art (!) to the addition of Givenchy to the NYFW fold. Let’s take a look:
Jason Wu: Deborah Lippman and team brought a classic to the Jason Wu with her shade, “Naked.” The clean look is a staple for Jason Wu shows.
Kate Spade:
Deborah Lippmann also created the look for the Kate Spade show using three layered shades to make this shimmery, iridescent hue. She used thin coats of shimmery shades “Whatever Lola Wants” and “Magic Is The Moonlight” over brand staple “Amazing Grace.”
Cushnie et Ochs:
Celeb manicurist Alicia Torello used Christian Louboutin polish in “La Favorita” and “Sevillana” to create a deep chevron french.
Kye:
At the Kye show, Pattie Yankee and team applied her Inspire full cover nails to the models’ hands after they were polished and embellished with a bold gold glitter, reflecting the metallic pieces in the collection.
Nicole Miller:
Katie Jane Hughes and the butter LONDON crew crowd sourced their final look on social media. The fans chose this splatter effect nail using “Cotton Buds,” “UnionJack Black,” and “Easy Peasy,” a shade launching in Spring.
