NY Fashion Week kicked off with some beautiful nails from some of our favorite nail artists and brands. Here’s the Day One run down:
BCBG Max Azria:
Rebecca Ise of ZOYA once again showed off the once top-secret Naked Manicure with a polished but undone nail style. Using the Zoya Buff Perfector and the Satin Seal Topcoat, the models’ nails were effortlessly chic.
Tadashi Shoji:
The Tadashi Shoji girl is floaty and ethereal, and Katie Jane Hughes of butter LONDON created a nail to match. Using Cotton Buds, Molly Coddled, and Muggins, Katie evokes floating nail art on negative space.
Erin Fetherston:
Miss Pop rocked it out with KISS Nail Products at Erin Fetherston to play on an airy, luxe floral feel. Using KISS Nail art paints in white, the nail art toolkit brush and the Luxe Accent pearls.
Desigual:
MAC Cosmetics’ Keri B. stunned with a custom multi-media denim wrap for Desigual, in both distressed dark and white denim.
Creatures of the Wind:
Katie Janes Hughes of butter LONDON made the statement nail part of the overall menswear-inspired look at Creatures of the Wind. Using UnionJack Black and a yet-unreleased Spring 2016 color, Skive, a bright royal blue creme.
Ulla Johnson:
Celeb manicurist Gina Edwards used Morgan Taylor lacquer “Perfect Match” and the brand’s matte topcoat, “Mattes a Wrap” for the Ulla Johnson presentation. Clean and classic mauve with a modern matte twist.
Ohne Titel:
MAC’s Keri Blair was at it again backstage at Ohne Titel, where the models wore different shades to complement the fashion.
