Day Four of New York fashion week had us feeling the fatigue of the grind of this endeavor. Every day of fashion week is stuffed full of events, spectacles, presentations, and parties, with matching blisters, Uber receipts, and bleary eyes. We started running into people we’d met backstage on Thursday, and though we’d only known each other for a day at most, we traded tired nods and knowing half-smiles that said “we’re all in this together.” NAILS THAT ROCKED DAY 4 OF NYFW
We were rejuvenated and renewed, though, when we got to assist Rose Velez-Miggins with the operations of the Gypsy Sport show. Rose, of Collective Aesthetics, asked us to facilitate the application of hundreds of pre-made nail tips that were decked out with Minx in flag designs and custom Gypsy Sport logos. We couldn’t be more thrilled with the opportunity, especially when the show is as fun as Gypsy Sport.
The nail look is bold and graphic, with various Olympic country flags, holographic Gypsy Sport logos, and an airbrushed fade into glitter. Rose stated that she loves the attitude at Gypsy Sport, which is pretty much anything goes, as long as it is chic and in your face with its boldness.

Morgan Taylor team, along with lead artist Mei Kawajiri, created nails for The Blonds using some of the biggest trends of the season; marble and chrome. We were lucky enough to see the nails before they walked inside the Morgan Taylor production suite – more to come on that later this week.
