The Nailscape was granted amazing behind the scenes all-access to the Morgan Taylor fashion week operation, and you won’t believe what we saw when they pulled back the curtain.
Morgan Taylor team lead, and Director of Education, Danielle Candido, graciously gave us a tour of the Production Suite where the real glamour is created. She even demoed the water marble look the team created for Betsey Johnson’s final runway show, and you can see that, along with a tutorial, right here on The Nailscape.
The Production Suite is exactly what it sounds like; a hotel room with more polish in every nook and cranny than you can imagine. Educators for Hand and Nail Harmony squeezed onto every available surface in the room to generate the hundreds of nail tips needed for each day’s show.Β A bathtub full of boxes of nail files, and a two dressers with boxes of polish in every drawer were the rule, but everyone was in very high spirits; happy to be a part of the action.
Morgan and Taylor, of their eponymous brand, were also on hand to show us the colors used for each of the Betsey Johnson looks, and sang the team’s praises the whole time we met with them.
This is as behind the scenes as it gets for nails at Fashion Week, so enjoy the following photos of our experience in the Morgan Taylor Production Suite. A huge thank you to Danielle Candido and her team, and Charity at Red PR.
