Everywhere you look, there is marble. In the background of every Instagram influencer’s flat lays, on the backs of phone cases (ours included,) and on nails. We’ve noticed that the marble tutorials we’ve seen have all been very pretty, but they don’t necessarily look like real marble. CREATE MARBLE NAILS THAT LOOK REAL!
In our newest tutorial video, we show you how to create a realistic marble look in several color ways using CND Shellac as an example of a hybrid gel system, and Cuccio Veneer as an example of an all gel system. We found that it is easier to spread the marbling on an all gel system, but you can easily achieve it with either.
In our video, we use gel, 99% Isopropyl alcohol, and a striper brush to create the marbled effect. It helped us to look at photos of actual marble and see how it is made up of striations and variations that make it beautiful and natural. Stay away from lots of hard lines, and have fun with it!
